Into the Bytecode - Producer

I’m Sina. I work on a podcast called Into the Bytecode, where I have longform conversations with thinkers/builders like Vitalik Buterin (Ethereum), Jesse Pollak (Base), Sreeram Kannan (EigenLayer), Martin Köppelmann (Gnosis), Varun Srinivasan (Farcaster), and others.

I’m looking to start working with a producer and to build the podcast together from here.

About you:

  • You’re interested in crypto, and want to create content that uses crypto as a lens for understanding the world. We’ll be working with topics across technology, economics, politics, and have an audience of curious thinkers/builders working across this frontier.

  • You have good taste and obsessive attention to detail. You will work with our team of editor, designer, and operations assistant to own the end-to-end production of the podcast. Practically this means giving input on audio/video and visuals, writing show notes, and picking pieces of content to repurpose as shorts and other media. Philosophically this means setting the creative direction of the podcast and holding a high bar to execute against it.

  • You’re a student of the modern media landscape, using data and intuition to make decisions about which channels to prioritize. You’re also a great storyteller, able to engage people and get them excited about our content.

  • You’re a strong operator. You build systems to operationalize workflows and drive them with a consistent cadence. You’re also entrepreneurial and like to take on open problems, for instance experimenting with new formats for the show or ways to connect with our audience.

About the role:

  • Part-time: expecting a focused period upfront and then part-time as we settle into a cadence.

  • Remote: can work from anywhere as long as generally available in North American timezones.
